Community led
Southwark isn't our case study, it's our home. Local voices set the agenda before we set the plan.
The Back to School Campaign is a Southwark based initiative working to ensure every young person begins the academic year with the confidence, dignity and resources they need to succeed. We're young, we're local and we're growing.

A London where young people don't have to face barriers in their education, where every student, regardless of postcode or income, is empowered to dream big and access the opportunities that match their ambition.
We picture a generation that walks into September feeling ready, valued and capable, and a city that backs them long after the first bell rings. No talent left on the sidelines. No dream made smaller by circumstance.
We support students and families by reducing the financial barriers tied to returning to school, through practical support, community initiatives and opportunities that empower young people. Currently rooted in Southwark, our ambition is to grow our impact across London and beyond.
Not posters on a wall. Filters we apply to every partnership, programme and pound.
Southwark isn't our case study, it's our home. Local voices set the agenda before we set the plan.
We back what opens doors: a device, a voucher, a room of role models, a confident first day.
Young people don't need pity. They need the same starting line everyone else assumes.
How support arrives matters as much as that it arrives. Nothing about us makes a young person feel small.
Schools, councils, businesses and families, we move further when we move together, not in parallel.
We count what counts. Every pound, device and event is reported clearly, even when the numbers are small.
We're looking for partners, ambassadors and volunteers ready to help shape the next chapter.
