A laptop in every young person's hands.

Our 2026 campaign is dedicated to closing the digital divide for young people across London, starting in Southwark and growing outward. We're raising support to put laptops directly into the hands of students who need them most.

Why laptops

Without a device, the modern classroom is a closed door.

Homework is set online. Coursework is submitted online. Revision, applications, group projects, careers research, all online. A young person without their own device isn't behind by a small margin. They're locked out.

£10.5K

Average lifetime earnings lost per young person locked out of digital learning (Good Things Foundation).

Reports from the Sutton Trust, Ofcom and the Education Endowment Foundation all reach the same conclusion: digital poverty is now one of the clearest predictors of attainment in UK secondary education. The gap isn't about ability. It's about access.

Standing on shoulders

Inspired by Pastor Tobi Adegboyega's work in London.

Pastor Tobi gives away £100k worth of laptops to Russell Group university students.

Philanthropist and founder of Nxtion Family (SPAC Nation), Pastor Tobi Adegboyega donated £100,000 to thriving Russell Group students to be from low income backgrounds.

In August 2020, Pastor Tobi distributed over £100,000 worth of MacBooks to students who had just received their A level results, confirming their places at Russell Group universities including Cambridge, Warwick and UCL. These students were initially unable to purchase the equipment required for their studies; the funding enabled them to do so. Up to 30 laptops a day were delivered, alongside additional vouchers for those returning to school.

Other beneficiaries included families living in shared accommodation or hotels, and women living in sheltered accommodation after fleeing abusive homes. None of the recipients were attendees of his church. Many expressed their gratitude across social media, with several wanting to thank Pastor Tobi in person.

“Our greatest investment will always be people.”
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega

His blueprint proved what's possible. We're carrying that energy into the next chapter, in our own borough, on our own scale.

“London is losing young people to knife crime at a rate no city should accept. Behind every headline is a child who was told, somewhere along the way, that their world was small. The Back to School Campaign is my answer to that. It isn't just about laptops and vouchers, it's about telling a generation that they are seen, that they are backed, and that no dream is too big for the postcode they grew up in.”

When a young person picks up a laptop from us, they're picking up more than a device. They're picking up a message: that someone in their city believes they can lead, build, study, create, and become the person they were always meant to be.

Help us put a laptop in every young person's hands in 2026.

Whether you're a partner, a parent, a school or a business, there's a way in.
